Promoting Quality Education Options
Lead: Denise Soto
Our Education committee started with a few mixers and has now evolved into a series of educational fairs uniting the community and featuring quality education options from charter schools, homeschools, private schools, religious education to supplemental skills-based and after-school programs.
We realize that it's time to take a strong stand against constant attempts to thwart choices and feature other options besides public schooling. However, we also seek to keep public schools accountable and to support parents of public school students with nonprofit and supplementary resources.
AIB2B takes a holistic approach to education, fostering moral character and resilience, through embracing failure as a building block to success, encouraging parents to promote sports and arts and to focus more on the substance of learning than a regimen of test taking simply to get into the perceived best schools.
